Our Spring litter pick was a resounding success. 40-odd residents came together to clean up the village, collecting dozens of bags of waste from our verges and hedgerows. This made a visible difference to the appearance of the village. Most importantly, there was cake at the end.
To keep on top of the litter problem, we've decided to make this a bi-annual event - so please pop the date in your diary and come along to help if you can. We will prepare a number of suggested routes, with off-road sections for families, and pickers, gloves and bags will be provided. As in March, we'll start and finish at the Pavilion on the Rec.
Further details will be available nearer the time - along with a request for volunteer bakers!
